Good games at
Canggu!
Good
football and good ambiance at the Canggu Club
for the first day of the finals of the 1st Bali
Social Football League.
Japan - Korea opened the day, with a classic
derby between these two teams that know each
other well. Korea took the lead in the first
half, leading by two goals to nil and Japan got
back in the second half to level the game 2-2.
In the last 10 minutes of the game, Korea
managed to break through taking advantage of two
ingenuities of the Japanese keeper to bring the
final score to 4 -2.
The
second game of the day was home team Canggu 35
playing against the Indonesians of FC Corner. It
was a very even game and entertaining game with
actions on both sides. Canggu 35 took the lead
in the last minutes of the first half and
brought back home a victory for 3-2 to secure
their 4th spot in the league.
Next
week Saturday 12th May the final for the third
place and the grand final are scheduled at the
Canggu Club. The first game will start at 16.30
and the second one will follow. A party with bbq
and beer open to public will follow. Don't miss
it!
